how long can you get pregnant after beng off birthcontrol?
I was on nuva ring and I took it out around the 9th or 10th of february and I got my period after that around the 11th or 12th and it was about 2 days long. Me and my boyfriend have had unprotected sex after that my period isnt due probably until next week but my breast feel weird and Ive been feeling more tired than usual is there a chance I could be pregnant?

Answer by PhantomRN You can get pregnant immediately after stopping but there's also a chance that your symptoms are just normal due to your body getting in gear to produce it's own hormones.

Answer by Joy Some spotting is normal during the first trimester. Just be a little more gentle during sex next time. I wouldn't be worried unless you bleed for more than two days or if the bleeding is excessive.

Awhile back it seemed like there was no problem to my sex life. But lately it takes longer to get in the mood and I find myself feeling a little short of wind after awhile. And just recently, I started to get headaches shortly into the sex. I plan on going to see a physician soon but I was just wondering if anyone else has any advice. I'm still extremely attracted to my partner and a little concerned by how my body is acting here lately.

I have been seeing this guy for about 4 months now and have known him for 4 years, everything is great emotionally and physically and i will give him subtle hints on taking it to the next level as far as intimacy goes. For these 4 months all we will do is have extreme makeout sessions. There have been a few times when it would have possibly gone to the next level but then he says ok we have to stop. is this normal for a 25 yr old to do? Or is it a form of not wanting to get "attached'?

In April, 1934, 10 years before this mug shot of Robert Watkins was taken, the New Castle News ran a story with the headline, “He Wields Poker; She Uses Knife -- This Is Why Daniel Laws And Daisy Watkins Have Wounds Todayâ€:
“Daniel Laws, 303 Preston avenue and Daisy Watkins, 317½ Preston avenue, colored, were treated at the New Castle hospital last night for knife and poker wounds they received at Daisy's home.
Police found Laws had been cut by Daisy, they report he is alleged to have wielded a poker on her when she refused to “keep company†with Daniel and she wielded a butcher knife -- which has not yet been found.â€
A man entered a teenaged girl’s home and beat her with an iron poker because he wanted to have sex with her; she was so scared that she grabbed a knife and stabbed him; and both were so badly wounded that they ended up in hospital. There’s little in the story to explain the light comic treatment that it received in the paper, apart from the word “colored†in the first line and the fact that it was 1934.
Robert Watkins was six years old at the time, and Daisy was his sister. Maybe he watched her being beaten or saw her stabbing the man. He would certainly have seen the blood stains in the kitchen. Did he see the story in the paper? Did he wonder why they treated it like a joke?
Robert was the youngest of seven children, many of whom were in trouble with the law throughout their lives. Daisy went on to run a moonshine joint in her house in the 1950s; Charles and Richard were arrested for stealing coal throughout the 1930s; Richard got a kick out of pulling false fire alarms; Charles robbed a cafe in 1939; Richard beat Jessie Ashe to death in 1951 in an argument over ; and Maria, the oldest sister, shot Eloise McClinton dead in a drunken scuffle in 1970.
Robert’s crime, committed right in the middle of all of that, when he was 16, fits in well with the family tradition. One August night in 1944, at about 2.30 in the morning, Robert and three other boys followed a Polish immigrant tin mill worker called Joe Kolakowski onto the Mahoning avenue viaduct -- two lanes of traffic suspended over a broad tract of railway lines, with a narrow footway on one side -- where they beat him up and robbed him of . When the description of the sluggers was broadcast later that night, a young patrolman called James Brown -- “also coloredâ€, noted the paper -- remembered seeing “a suspicious quartet†in Moravia street just after the incident, and he and another officer picked them up within the hour. All four pled guilty the next day.
That was the start and end of Robert's public criminal career. If he did anything else, we don't know about it. Years later, when New Castle's economy began its long, terminal dive after the Korean war, when the factories shut down and jobs got scarce, Robert headed to Sacramento, California, leaving his family behind him. He never went home again.
